Located in the heart of Lincoln Park at Willow, Orchard and Vine, this sixty-two unit townhouse project occupies an entire city block. City Commons was the prototype for numerous townhome projects in the Chicago area.

City Commons incorporated a common garden area complete with fountain, teak benches, numerous flower beds and lush vegetation. The interior drive and the stoops in the front of each unit created a sense of community and a feeling of safety.

In a densely populated area, City Commons has become a community or neighborhood within itself. The central covered entryway leads into the intimate village like an interior setting. At the same time, City Commons has a friendly, heavily landscaped presence on the sidewalks and streets on which it fronts.
